3rd Hair Transplant Completed!

Well it finally happened!

Coinciding with my third Hair Transplant, I have been collating lots of feedback and ideas for the new Head of Hair™ website.

My third hair transplant was a complete success and it is now fully published in my new-look journal.

Many visitors wanted the journal to be categorized - I understand it can be cumbersome going through 2000 photos and almost 500 diary entries to get the information you want to see.

As I started to upload the results of my third transplant, I completely re-categorized the previous 18 months into an easy to follow system.

Each entry can now be found by month or procedure and also with the previous and next functions. My whole story can be followed from start to finish.

The forums were a great place for people who had previous surgeries to discuss their experiences - both good and bad. It also helps other guys thinking of having a transplant make their decision.

The Forum was a great idea in principle and worked well, however, it became an advertising ground for a few clinics and battleground for others.

As I am passionate about keeping the forum alive, I gave the responsibility of moderating it to a work colleague you will see him there as Jamie who neither needs or wants a hair transplant. His background is technology and has been involved in Forums for many years.

His sole role on the forum is to keep it fair - he even has more authority on there than me!

The old forums we left behind and the new forums were launched May 2006.

I needed a lot of help when re-designing Head of Hair™ as I wanted it to be easy to navigate and a useful non-commercial resource.

I must thank the many people who helped me out with the new site and with the hundreds of ideas and feedback I received. I truly hope the new site will be a complete success.
