By means of introduction, my name is Clive Dean and I am now the Director of Head Of Hair Ltd, a company specialising in Choi Hair Transplantation and Plastic Cosmetic Surgery.

Previously to this I worked for another Hair Transplantation company, also as Director/counsellor for approximately 4years. I resigned my position recently in order to establish this New and Significantly Improved Service.

Educated at Masters level at Jesus College Oxford University (1990) and working within the Health and Social Care arena from 1994 to 2005. My main thrust has always been the development and execution of standards and practice of excellence.

Back in 2004 whilst working at Inspectorate level for the National Care Standards Commission (Office of the Secretary of State) monitoring all aspects of patient care I became acutely aware of my own condition; that of loosing my hair! (Having overheard my 3yr old son describe me to his friends a “the bald one”!)

Resources readily available, I endeavoured to research the Hair Transplantation Industry. What I found was both intriguing and sometime alarming. Blind avenues, false promises (especially in regards to assessments of how many follicles I would need). What I was presented with was a bewildering and what seemed to me as a chaotic and unregulated industry. Eventually, after about one year of research I made a choice to have a procedure. This decision was based upon the impeccable credentials, references and testimonials of the actual surgeon who would be conducting the procedure.

Forget the “glitz” of the advertising and “salesmanship” of the “counsellor” (normally a salesman) at the “Sharp end”  (pun intended) it’s the SURGEON who will be in control of the end result (Hair). To this end, I am pleased to be part of Head of Hair (www.headofhair.co.uk).
