Day 72

Very tiring day today, slightly hungover and very busy at work.

Using Lasercomb tonight, still suffering from these spots. The 2 keep going pussy so I'm using anticeptic cream an hour before Fucicort.

Is it me or is the "shadow" really coming along. These photos are without any darkening whatsoever.

I am one happy chappy!

It's Friday!! What a long long week at work.

Not much to report on the hair front apart from it's well and truly coming through. Every day it looks darker on top. I'll definately have hair for Christmas!

Spots are still there but I'm sure you won't see them when the hair's grown.

Busy Saturday as I worked all day :(

A good friend commented on my hair today saying it was really coming through :)

Used Lasercomb as didn't have chance to use it last night - still got the 3x15mins sessions in this week.

Another day at work...all day :(

Very brief as not much to report and really need to go to bed.

Head is very furry though. Things are definately happening up top!

Busy day today, I really need a holiday!

Used Lasercomb in the evening so it was very relaxing and wound the long day up nicely.

Hair is really starting to go dark up top....very happy chappy here :)

Shattered today so the hair really hasn't figured much.

Seems to look OK and coming along nicely.

Shame about the spots as they're really quite painful in an aching way. Fucicort doesn't seem to be getting rid of them so it might be stress-related.

Had a good think about these spots today.

The reason I have them has got to be down to the stuff I've been putting on my head not giving the scalp any chance to heal properly.

WORD OF ADVICE: Don't put anything on your hair for at least 10 weeks including colour, gel, darkener as it could interfer with the healing process.

Using the Lasercomb before bed tonight which is always a relaxing pleasure.

Day 80

Day off work today - need to re-charge! (and coming down with a cold :( )

Hair still looking good. Leaving off any product until next week now to give the scalp time to heal.

Spots aren't as noticable now and much less irritating.

Day 81

Another day off work today to recharge.

Feeling much better now. Spots have almost cleared up as hair getting darker by the day.

Using Lasercomb before bed tonight - having a nice relaxing Friday night in.

The hair is well and truly coming through, even my friends keep commenting on it!

In fact, when I wake up in the morning, because of the way I sleep, I have a parting first thing!

I need to say, I've never had hair on my temples since I was around 19 so I haven't a clue what to do with it when it comes through proper!!

Forgot to use Lasercomb Friday and yesterday so playing catch up this morning.

Friend's commented again on my hair growth. I feel so confident about things now...this is all down to the amazing surgeon - One big thank you to you.

Pictures are after I got out of the bath so my hair's wet.

Using a webcam now at work to take the images during the week. Seem to be clearer allthough the light is less than flattering!

Hair's really comng through now, every day it seems darker.

I'm tempted to give it a helping hand with some medium brown hair dye although I am not 100% sure.

Using the Lasercomb tonight.

Hair really coming through now. Used a touch of mascara last night to see how much growth was there - well, I really do think I'm going to have a full head of hair for Christmas.

Got a niggly spot today though - see picture 3, should be clear by tomorrow

Booked a hair cut for tomorrow and asked a good friend for a top of the range hairdresser's voucher for the New Year to give me that last bit of motivation - plus I haven't a clue what to do with it when it grows!!!

Had my hair cut this afternoon for the works party tomorrow.

Although the scar is still a little visible, it looks so much better as time is passing.

Now my hair has been cut and my "wings" removed, I think it looks like I have loads more hair!

Works party tonight so looking forward to going there with hair. Going to darken it slightly with mascara.

Forgot to use Lasercomb (again) need to catch up so will use it tomorrow and Saturday.

The pictures are of me after the party so are of me very very drunk!!!

WHAT A HANGOVER!!!!
Very tired all day today but managed to use the Lasercomb after work.

Another party with my Dad's family today...really getting into the spirit of things!

Well, its been 3 months and hasn't time flown by!!

I would say I'm at around 60% of growth and although you can still see my scalp through the hair, it is becoming less visible the longer my hair is and the thicker the growth is.

I have to say at this milestone, I could not have expected results of this magnitude.

A HUGE THANKYOU TO THE SURGEON AND HIS TEAM. You guys have well and truly changed my life, my appearance and above all else, my self confidence.

Had a revamp of the website - hope you like the new look :)

Not much to report today, no spots, hair growing and coming through nicely. I'm getting my wish...hair for Christmas.

Had the day off work today as had Botox injections between my eyebrows and on my forehead.

Commented to a good friend that throughout my life, I have very rarely spent any money on my physical appearrance - this year, I'm already over '6000!!!
About time I did something for me :)

Hair looking good, no darkener, just me :)

Bought Aussie Formula hair and conditioner for thin limp hair to see if I can start to add volume up on top.

Used Lasercomb in the morning so will fit my 3 sessions easily in this week.

Woke up with blood on my head this morning - I think I had a nasty spot on my head which the dog scratched during the night....OUCH!

Covered the area with Fucicort.

Used the Lasercomb this morning as I knew I wouldn't have time to use it later.

Did I have have hair for Christmas....you decide!

Slicked my hair back for the first time today - used a touch of darkener but felt so confident when I went out for a few drinks in Brum.

I really did get what I wanted for Christmas.

Nice slow relaxing day today - did absolutely nothing...nice!

Going to pick some colour up tomorrow as I'm ready for a change :)

Used Lasercomb this morning and went out and bought some hair dye this afternoon - Nice'n'Easy Medium Brown (118).

Although it's a little brown and a shade lighter than my natural colour, I think it looks really good!

Hair looking really good at the moment - using spray gel to calm down the wispiness.

Really pleased how it's turning out.

Took a couple of "poser" shots during the day - I would never of had the confidence to do this a few months ago so it just goes to show what a profound effect the hair growth has had on every aspect of my life - sounds a bit melodramatic but it's true.



Another thing I noticed for the first time was the shadow on the ground - I have a small quiff and noticable hair - makes a huge change to the egg shaped shadow I've been used to for 13 years!
