Day 151 - Funky

Hair is growing noticable long and I'm very reluctant to get it cut. It needs a trim but I think hairdressers can be scissor-happy so it is a worry.
Never had this problem when I was bald but what a nice problem to have hehehe

Need to find a good hairdresser who knows the difference between a trim and just taking the ends off.

Day 153 - Need A Haircut!

Hair is becoming a little bit difficult to manage - I now understand what my mates (both male and female) mean now when they say their hair is in the "in-between" stage!
Do i cut it or do I let it grow - a great dilema to have!

Day 155 - More Hair Coming Through

I speak to guys every day about hair transplantation and say to them that my head still has around 3000 hairs still to come through.
It's easy to say but it wasn't until today that I actually realised what that will mean.

Lot's of bristles and fine hairs have produced a fur underneath the mop of hair seriously darkening my scalp.
Once those have grown, I truly believe I have reached my ultimate goal - it would have taken 2 years plus a couple of months but the difference is astounding.

Day 156 - New Hairstyle

People say I can be impulsive and impatient - well, they're obviously right as I couldn't wait to grow my hair and am so glad I've had it cut.




Had a "mocha" colour put on the front fringe area and the back and the cut is awesome.

Day 159 - Loving The New Style

Now starting to bring my hair forward a bit with the new style.
I bought myself a hairdryer and straighteners to see what styles I can achieve.

This is fun!

Day 162 - Styling

One thing your have to learn when your hair comes through is how to style it and what options are available to you.



I have tried a number of products and styles and my only advice is to experiment.

Guys who haven't lost their hair have the fortune of trying products throughout their lives and probably ending up with something that works for them.

Day 165 - Without Product

Some days, I don;t bother styling my hair (laziness I suppose) and simply towel-dry it and roughly bring it forward.

Still looks OK :)

Day 168 - Close Up

New hair is definately coming through as I'm noticing shorter hairs amongst the longer ones.

When I do not style my hair and simply towel dry it, i seem to have an amazing amount of hair on top.

Although I still have a few months to go, I would be happy if this was it, all I need to do is find a style I am comfortable with and can easily achieve in the shortest amount of time.

Day 170 - Shaggy Style

Think I'm finding a style which suits me, my hair and my lifestyle.
I wash my hair, towel dry it then give it a quick brush forward.
After a minute or so, I then add Fructus hair products and ruffle it up.

I think the results suit me.

Day 175 - Hair Meetings

Just back from a great weekend in London with one of the clinic's consultants seeing patients.



It's amazing how similar everyone's story is, how they feel and why they want a hair transplant.

Day 178 - Alton Towers

Spent the day at Alton Towers - what a fantastic day, the maximum queueing time was only 10 minutes so managed to get on everything.




Around
4 years ago, I went to Alton Towers
(when I was bald) and had similar photos taken (I think the photos were of me on Oblivion and Nemesis) but they were soon put in the bin as I felt I looked like an old man on the rides. No such thing is going to happen this time. I genuinely like me on the
photos so they'll be in frames on the wall in no time.
