Day 122 - Close Up Hair Shots

Been down in sunny Brighton for a few days hence the pause in hair shots.
Thought I'd do some closer shots - I was actually sitting in the car taking these so you can imagine the looks I was getting :)







Looking good and check out the curls!

Some is definately coming through but I have to remember that at 122 days, I'm only at 4 months so growing will start over the next 4 months - I reckon there's a good 3000-4000 hairs to come through.

Day 123 - Diy Haircut

Had a bit of a drastic trim up top but I think the final result looks fine.

Decided to take quite a few photos (I guess I'm really proud of my bonce :) )

Day 126 - Back Home

After a great weekend in Edinburgh seeing old friends and also guys intersted in hair transplant which produces results like mine, I'm tired hence the short entry.



Hair still looking good and the new haircut has got some positive comments (or were people just being kind ;))

Day 128 - Messy Hair

Hair is DEFINATELY coming through now as my scalp is becoming covered in small bristly hairs.
This is great news as I am 100% sure I am going to reach my ultimate goal.

Hair is very messy today - something to do with me working from home and not bothering to do anything with it - still, it looks thick and lots of it!

Day 130 - No Hair Product

Thought I'd do a few pictures without any gel or stuff on my hair - hair's a bit fuzzy but as you can see, there's a lot of it!

Day 131 - At The Folks'

Lovely afternoon/evening with my folks and lots of compliments about my hair.
Very pleased especially when realistically I still have 1000's new hairs and shock lost hair to come through.

People ask me about the scar so here's a couple of pictures of how invisible to scar can be....

Day 135 - New Head Of Hair

Been very busy the past few days designing and writing articles for the new HeadofHair which should launch sometime next week.

As it's got busier and busier and I've been getting more and more questions regarding different aspects of hair loss and hair transplantation, I've realised I need to make HeadofHair much bigger and include answers to the many questions that are asked.

I sent a recent email out to everyone who had shown interest in HeadofHair. In the email I asked for feedback and help with the site and
the response was excellent so, THANK YOU for your help and support.

As they say, WATCH THIS SPACE for the new site.

Day 137 - New Hair Product

For the last year I have sworn by "Fudge" styling products and still recommend them for the funkier hairstyles however for a change I thought I'd try something else

Fructus are always advertising on the TV and with a special offer at Tescos I bought:
Surf Hair (Textured Gum)
Switch (Reworkable Gum)


Surf hair is great although does harden on the hair which is fine if you like the feel of gel but Switch is better. It doesn't harden on hair and can be re-worked during the day (perfect for me as I'm always playing with my hair throughout the day)

Day 138 - Hair 4 Switch

Frustus "Switch" and my hair are getting on superb. Styling my hair takes 15 seconds (and yes, i timed it!) in the morning.



If
I need to restyle my hair later in the day, no need for more product,
the Switch just "reactivates" and my hair is restyled.

Day 139 - Curls

August 20, 2006

As my hair is growing the curls are really coming back - comparing photos now with when I we pre-teen, it's amazing how they're the
same curls.

Day 142 - Still Hairy

August 23, 2006

Hair is still coming through although slowly - at around 4 1/2
months now so still a long way to go and much more thickening to go.

Day 146 - The Tat Continues

Just had another section of the tattoo done - only one more session to go.

Day 147 - The Wake Up Hair

This is what I look like after a few minutes of getting up - no style, no product (apart from the stuff I put on yesterday and didn't wash off) and looking denser by the day.

Day 149 - Finasteride

August 30, 2006

Staring to notice my crown becoming a little thin (although nothing to worry about) so I've decided to go on a course of Finasteride to thicken it up and hold on to it for longer.

Using Fincar (generic finasteride) 2.5 mg every other day.

Hair is still looking funky and full with plenty more to grow through. I'm the happiest I've been with it since my teens!
