Day 27

Very pleasant trip back home after my all expenses paid stay in the Crown Plaza. Got home and off to the pub for a couple of drinks.

Hair is definately implanted and just waiting for the nod to come out and make me a very happy chappie!

Busy day at work in Manchester so the hair didn't figure much...even too tired this evening to go to the pub....I must be ill hehehehe

Great day today and a fantastic end to the week. Got a lock-in at the local...dreading the morning, hangover central here I come!

Hair is still'at the growing stage, gave it a trim earlier so it looks a bit more stylish....roll on three months.

Hair is starting to come through very slowly - been almost a month so am starting the "baby hair" stage - very fine blond hairs, very short but definately there.

It will be 1 month tomorrow - how time flies!!

Well it's a month since my second procedure and all is going very well.

Hair seems to be poking out of around 20% of the transplants -'excellent progress!

I've only had a couple of spots so all in all I am very pleased with the first month.

The lull (which is due to losing my hair through the shock effect) is starting to lift and I can see light at the end of the tunnel - in fact, more than light, flashing strobe lights and podium dancing hehehe.

Bought some Savlon dry anticeptic spray today to keep the area very clean - Craig used it and it worked wonders for him.

Came last but one in the pub quiz - a remarkable improvement hehehe

All is going very well on the hair front - definate signs of growth, very fine hairs coming through next to the thicker hairs. Very happy and confidence is growing once more.

Another great day - thought I'd highlight on the photo where my new hairline will be as it is becoming very feint until it grows - it'll look truly amazing!

Also something to notice is that the scar has disappeared - not bad after a month

Getting a tan now - starting to look really healthy.

Not much to report today on top - all looks OK

Started a detox diet as feeling a bit run down - should be all back up to 100% in a few days...might even stay off the beer for a few days!

Had a great day out in Manchester with a guy who's having the procedure in July - top bloke!

All is good on top and the new growth is starting to happen...the shadow is coming!

A great Sunday with lots of food, sleep and a few pints to finish the weekend off.

Hair is great - really starting to poke through now and the top is noticably thicker

Having a lifestyle change of late and decided to really start looking after myself more:

• I've been detoxing for 5 days on a Bootscourse


• I've bought a juicer and having plenty of fresh fruit and veg


• I've cut down on the alcohol - only had 2 pints of shandy this evening!


• Drinking 2 litres of water a day


• No tea or coffee


• No milk products - Soya spread for my toast and goats milk

Hic! What a fantastic Friday night down the local. The confidence has well and truly returned and I feel great.

Added a tiny amount of DermMatch to my scalp before going out - probably unnecessary but it did look good :)

Bought some Nioxin hair shampoo and conditioner - it is absolutely fantastic!
Seems to thicken the hair and leave it feeling great and looking superb.

I would highly recommend this product.

Saw my nephew today - young Archie William who is gorgeous. I am a VERY proud uncle.

Hair's looking mighty fine although I had to pop 2 cysts this morning. not painful and too be honest quite relieving. All in all, everything is good up top.

Went to see England play Bangladesh at Headingly with my dad today - what a fantastic day. Hair is great - have vowed to myself not to use any darkener from now on - it's all in the bin. Time to let the transplants grow and enjoy what's up top.

Monday morning and feeling mighty fine.

DermMatch and all other products are well and truly history and I'm feeling very confident once again.

My first bit of stubble came through this morning which made me feel superb.

Another great day and relaxing night at the local. Have forgotten about darkener now and am loving the Nioxin (Cheers Craig!).

Shadow is definately starting to appear - all in all, what a great time!

Having a hard day at work today - feeling a little stressed which is so unlike me!
