hair transplant before and after

At the age of 36 my hair loss had reached a stage that it was time to make probably one of the biggest decisions that I had ever made, either to do something about my hair loss or shave everything off.

I had been really lucky to have kept what I had to this stage in my life and owe this to the fact that on first noticing that I was loosing hair at the age of 18, I immediately started looking for any treatments that could help me. I started using Minoxidil shortly afterwards which helped to slow down the process considerably.

I used Minoxidil up until the age of 33 at which time I felt that my hair loss had started to get worse and as such felt my confidence dwindle with every day that went by. It was then that I discovered Finasteride/Proscar and started taking it soon after and to my joy soon noticed that my hair loss had slowed to a point where I couldn’t tell if I was still loosing any.

The only problem now, was the fact that, although I had managed to successfully stop my hair loss in its tracks, my hairline had been eroded away. On discovering the Clinic's website I was amazed by what seemed to be some stunning results achieved by former recipients of the Choi procedure.

I then made contact with the clinic via email and had a very pleasant and re-assuring conversation with them shortly after. They explained the whole process to me.
It was such a relief just being able to talk to someone who understood exactly how I was feeling about a subject that I had been hiding from people for most of my adult life. It was shortly after my conversation that I started talking to Andy Hunt who was a recipient of the Choi procedure back in September 2004. Here was a guy who was completely bald and now looked like he had a full head of hair and so natural that I couldn’t believe that it had been transplanted.

Andy was so pleased with his results and the treatment that he received that he set up his own website in which he diarised his entire post-op progress and is a huge benefit to people who want to know exactly what to expect in the weeks and months immediately after receiving the Choi procedure. I would recommend that anyone who is considering the procedure check out Andy’s website http://www.headofhair.co.uk and be amazed at his progress and the difference it has made to his overall appearance.
