Couvre Hair Loss Cream
May 16, 2006
COUVRé (as it is often written) is one of the simplest ideas to mask hair loss and thinning hair.
Some of the hype I have found reads...
"Couvre is Hollywood's best kept secret. By eliminating the contrast between your hair and scalp, you will immediately see a fuller head of hair. For the past 15 years, movie and TV stars have used a little known formula called Couvre that does this and more"
How does it work?
Very simply is the best answer - add a little cream to an applicator (although most guys who have used this and that I have spoken to use their fingers) and smear into the scalp.
The contrast between to hair colour and the colour of the scalp disappears giving the illusion of a full head of hair.
How does it look?
From all the results I have seen and feedback from users, it looks great, very natural and in the words of the Ronseal advert "Does exactly what it says in the tin" (or in this case, on the tube)
How is it applied?
- Similar to DermMatch apply the cream to the applicator (or fingers)
- Smear onto the scalp until the scalp can no longer be seen
- Wash hands
- Using a flannel or wet cloth, remove any excess and blend in the colour with the hairline.
- Style as usual
- Go out and party!
What are its faults?
- Rubs off on fabric - including bed clothes, own clothes and other people clothes
- Can be messy to apply and use
- Doesn't seem to last very long therefore expensive.
Where can I get more information?
I couldn't find the Couvre website however many of the product suppliers and stockist should be able to provide extra information on this product.
